How might we increase transparency and autonomy for cardholders?
Cross-Team Coordination
Omnichannel

Systemic Design Patterns
In general, people want clarity and control where it matters most. What mattered most to my users was tracking and maintaining their hours, because their benefit eligibility depended on them. Previously, they had to rely on benefit administrators—but not anymore.
This case study documents how over 66,000 cardholders gained transparency and autonomy over their hours and benefit eligibility.

We’re in an era where long-lasting brands are built with communities, not just for them. Recognizing this, the innovation team at Gap launched an event called Gap Logo Remix: a global, community-driven contest promising small fame and fortune for 3 lucky winners.
This case study walks you through the creation of the full experience, from start to finish, and how it attracted over 10,000 participants worldwide, sold out over 300 limited-edition hoodies, and more.

Icon inconsistency can disrupt the user experience and dilute brand cohesion. To prevent these problems, fellow UI/UX designers wished for the knowledge of correctly using icons and the ability to find one quickly. Their wishes were granted.
This case study reveals how I built an icon design system for the iconic Gap Inc. from scratch: tailoring icons, writing style and usage guidelines, stitching pattern libraries together, and exhibiting all icons in one source-of-truth location.

Accessibility doesn’t limit creativity, and it can create a memorable design challenge. This challenge occurred when Gap Threads collaborated with Demit Omphroy, an artist with a vibrant style that clashed with our existing web aesthetic.
This case study explores how I adapted Demit’s playful palette into a digital experience that stayed true to his artistic voice and our accessibility standards.

Clients want digital experiences that evolve with their unique business and user needs. For the product teams behind these digital experiences, challenges may arise when they have multiple clients with unique needs. After gaining our second client, my product team faces that challenge, which is why we’re redesigning key features of our product.
This is an ongoing effort to scale our product without sacrificing client-specific features. Follow this case study as it documents the redesign journey; however, the details are currently vague for confidentiality.
